Come and join our interactive institute to engage in activities, reflection, conversation, and community-building around the following themes:

• Exploring and honoring the identities of families and caregivers

• Navigating a changing world of technology, social media, and social-emotional challenges for and with our children

• Supporting children in their education and preparation for their future

• Exploring where our “cultura” and familial and community knowledge fit into supporting our youth through the challenges of today’s world

Participants will leave with strategies for cultivating diverse identities and nurturing the cultural and linguistic “ser” of their children throughout their lives.

Venga y únase a nuestro instituto interactivo para participar en actividades, reflexión, conversación y construcción de comunidad en torno a los siguientes temas:

• Explorar y honrar las identidades de familias y los cuidadores

• Navegar por un mundo cambiante de tecnología, redes sociales y desafíos socioemocionales para y con nuestros niños

• Apoyar a los niños en su educación y preparación para el futuro

• Explorar dónde encaja nuestra “cultura” y el conocimiento familiar y comunitario para apoyar a nuestros jóvenes a través de los desafíos del mundo actual.

Los participantes obtendrán estrategias para cultivar identidades diversas y nutrir el “ser” cultural y lingüístico de sus hijos a lo largo de sus vidas.
